Winter (with apologies to MasterCard)

Getting up to check the weather and traffic reports after a weekend ice storm: 6:00 AM
Slipping and falling down on the ice-encased yard while walking the dog: 6:45 AM
Getting the car started to start de-icing it: 7:00 AM
Finally getting the car de-iced completely: 7:45 AM
Testing the wipers and discovering that, despite the fact you de-iced them thoroughly before testing them, they're only moving an inch at most? Timeless.

Thanks to advice from greenwings, I was able to get my wipers unfrozen - turned out that there was thick sleet/ice frozen completely around all of the works, below where I could get to them.

Tomorrow, I try to drive. I hear that the highways are good, though.
