nockergeekWell, after 3 hours of play, during which I found a really good group in my first 10 minutes, hit level 13 and got enough XP to keep from deleveling after death, got to Selbina for the first time, and got my first subjob quest item, I think the decision is pretty clear.
I'm sticking with FFXI. When it works, it really, really works.

on 2004-02-12 01:57 pm (UTC)I'm guessing you got the Crab Apron first? That's what most people get first, since Snippers are the easiest of the three to fight. Let us know when you have both the Crab Apron and the Damselfly Worm, and we (or at least Dennis, he'd be the main one you'd need) will help you get your Magicked Skull. The Ghoul that drops it is a rare spawn between 2200-400, and it's a rare drop from it. I think Dennis has helped just about everyone on the LS get theirs. Another benefit of having a high level thief in our group.
