nockergeekA quiet day at work, so it's the perfect time for an LJ update...
First of all, math is hard. I was balancing the checkbook, and discovered a minor math error a couple of weeks back. Turns out that when you subtract 85 from 660, the answer is not 675, but rather 575! *slaps forehead* So we have $100 less in the bank than I thought. We're doing okay - we have enough surplus to absorb that math snafu. Just means no buying non-essentials until next week (other than the occasional Coke or comic book).
Finally took the time to finish Zelda: Wind Waker this weekend. Now I am craving new gamage. I'm considering either a used copy of Star Wars: Rogue Squadron for the GameCube ($17 at EB Games) or Virtua Fighter 4 for the PS2 ($11 at Cargo Largo, if they have any left). Or perhaps I just need to finish up FF1 first... I am over halfway through with it (I think). And then there's Warcraft 3 to beat before I can get the expansion (which I will get)...
Lessee, what else? Still jonesing for a Mechwarrior 'clix fix. Wouldn't mind some of that for my birthday (*hint hint*). Not that I need more stuff, but I really want to give that game a try, now that Heroclix has shown me the Joy of Clix. Also need to paint minis tomorrow and Sunday, and next weekend as well.
And only 21 more days until I'll have the funds to upgrade my computer! Huzzah!!
