Computer upgrades will be taking a break...

Okay, so I've got this new motherboard/processor/memory setup priced at $280 that I've spec'd out, right? Well, looks like it'll have to wait.

Got the car inspected today. Passed except for one lightbulb (which they replaced for me -- gotta love those $12 bulbs), but they recommended getting the tires replaced. Well, yeah, they do have upwards of 85,000 miles on them. How much does the dealership want for replacing the tires? $260!

Wow. I end up $20 ahead. Go me. However, having a working car is more important than upgrading my already-working computer, so the car wins.

However, there will be some upgrading done before Half-Life 2 comes out. Oh yes. It will be done.

yes, you'll definatly feel better with new tires on the car for the drive down the Dallas and back...i think it was around 80,000 or so when I started getting my tires replaced...one at a time...as each one got low and couldn't hold air anymore...so your way might be the better way...
