nockergeekOnce again, I have the tedious task of putting in last month's project time in. I really should do this on a weekly, if not daily, basis, but unfortunately my day tends to get interrupted by silly things like, oh, work. Being a developer and maintenance man really sucks sometimes. Maybe we can hire another developer one day to help shoulder the burden. It just annoys me to have to juggle four or five projects at a time -- and be able to work on any of them at a moment's notice -- when the other developer doesn't.
Oh well. Not much I can do but take my lumps and like it.

Random note: cans of tuna do not roll in straight lines. They like to veer off in wide circles and stop under metal shelves.

We're going to the Lake of the Ozarks this weekend to visit Z's mom. Originally, we were going to drive out to St. Louis, but for some reason the plans got switched. I think it had something to do with saving us money, even though the trip is only 30 minutes shorter. I was thinking about the trip, and I suddenly realized -- I'm not an outdoorsman, and I have no interest in becoming such, so there will be nothing for me to do down there. No friends (except Z, natch), no computer, no video games, no nothing. Can't go shopping -- I don't think they have any decent stores there, and we don't have money for extraneous shopping anyway.
I hope I don't end up annoying Z too much with my boredom. Maybe I can find a book to read.
