Working from home...

nockergeekIt's been a cold icy day here in KCMO. Everything's coated in almost an inch of ice, making the roads dangerous and cars impossible to get into. Good thing we're stocked up on food and that I can telecommute. I've actually been doing a bit better at not getting distracted today. I was able to get about two hours of work done before I even opened a browser for personal reasons. I've been trying to keep that discipline going - now that I've admitted I have a problem, I can deal with it. :)
Just put the finishing touches an one part of a project for work. Feels good to get something done.
Trying to decide what to do tonight - do I take the laptop and work on my webpage? Go back to FFX and try to unlock the handful of things I don't have yet? Turn to one of my computer games, like Starcraft or Fallout or Freespace 2? Dig out my old Final Fantasy d20 conversion rules and get back to those? Paint some minis? Work on decks? The possiblities are endless - and if the weather holds true, I may be working from home tomorrow too, so free time is mine! Not losing an hour or so to my commute is a very good thing.
Oh, and another perk of working at home - sex breaks when you've reached a resting point in your work. Can't get those in the office! :)
