La vie, c'est bon.
The first day all week that I haven't had any major projects due or deadlines to hit, and it feels good. I'm just slacking for a bit, catching up on the news before I get started on some other work. In the meantime, what else is going on?
- In DBZ news, tried out a couple of new decks last night. My Trunks deck, which is similar to, but different from, both Dennis's and Dan's Trunks decks, got beaten pretty badly. I think I need to rethink my strategy with him. My slightly-revamped Future Gohan deck, on the other hand, broke Majin Vegeta. Of course, this happens when you have 14 cards in hand in a game where you normally have 4.
- Watching the new Animatrix trailer yesterday triggered odd dreams last night. My dream looked partially animated and partially live-action, and featured some decent suspense and action. Dennis had a supporting role as Agent Dennis, coordinating the other Agents who were hot on the main character's trail. Trinity made a surprise appearance too. The cinematography was awesome - and of course, I had at least one or two "Matrix moves" camera fly-bys in there. A little bit of a Star Wars reference (since I've been lusting for the Rogue Squadron GC game) was thrown in for good measure at the end. I'm one of the few people I know that has cinematic dreams. ^_^
- Going out for steak tonight. Might try to deliver Seth's present too. And somewhere in there, laundry needs to be done - the stack is almost as tall as I am! Perhaps we can do that tomorrow night at Ashley and Garrett's.
- Tomorrow, Dennis and I go out to look for a mini for my druid. Funny thing, that - I've been playing the game for weeks and I still have no mini for myself. Perhaps I can grab some sealer too and seal the minis I have done. Might look for Secrets of the Mantis too - now that I have my basic damage system set up, I think I'm good to start seeing who's interested and writing up some basic plotlines.
- And for good measure, I'll just add that my baby is beautiful and awesome. That is all. ^_^v
