There will be violence.
Feb. 27th, 2003 12:57 pmApparently, FedEx tried to ship Z's new tablet to the wrong address in the KC area, so now they're sitting on it at one of their 5 "Hold at Location" centers in KC. Do I know which one it's at? No.
Can I get help from FedEx with locating it and either picking it up myself, or having them un-hold it and try to send it again? No, because I don't have the FedEx tracking number, which CompUSA didn't give me. Fortunately, CompUSA has a tracking system on their site, and they show where the package is, but they don't give the tracking number.
Thing is, I know FedEx knows how to get here; I've seen many FedEx vans here in the last 14 months, so I know they know where this complex is.
---
Okay, the CompUSA service rep is calling FedEx right now to get things straightened out.

Apparently, FedEx didn't have the apartment number, so they didn't know who to give the package to. I'm not sure who to beat first - FedEx for being uncooperative, or CompUSA for failing to give FedEx all the info they needed.
