And for a quick, non-tragedy related note...
Konami has done something that I thought couldn't be done - they designed a version of DDR that I don't enjoy playing. Not only do I not enjoy playing DDR Extreme 8th Mix, but I also actively dislike playing it. Why, you may ask?
Because it's too freakin' hard! The timing is over-sensitive (although that might be on a machine by machine basis), the song difficulties have been relabeled so that what was once Difficult is now Standard (and what was once Standard/Basic is now "Light"), and they added Freeze Steps (although that last part I could probably get used to eventually).
But I don't want to get used to it, because I do not like this version of the game.
