Which OS are You?
Ugh. I hate feeling sick. Well, I'm not sick-sick, like Z was a couple of weeks ago. Just got an upset stomach, but it sure can put a cramp in your plans (no pun intended). Trying to relax enough to sleep, which is not proving to be easy. Last night I couldn't sleep through the night, and tonight I just can't sleep, even though I'm mentally exhausted.
It's a shame, too, because today was a pretty good day. Good weather, productive at work, was in a great mood when I came home, had a good dinner with my baby, played with the dog... then got repeatedly punched in the stomach by gas from something, I know not what.
Also saw "American Pimp" on cable tonight. It's a documentary on the lifestyles of pimps - as in the full-on 70s blaxploitation pimp - in America, past and present. An interesting view of an American subculture I wouldn't ordinarily experience, but it certainly didn't make me want to run out and get the fur coat and wide-brimmed hat. These guys view women as nothing more or less than money making machines, which is a sad, sad thing. I mean, I like sex and women (and sex with women) as much as the next guy, but these guys somehow manage to make the whole thing feel both campy and foul at the same time, like poorly done porn.
