nockergeekOkay, I lied. I won't write more about Warped Tour... at least not quite yet. I've got other things I want to talk about.
First of all, never get into an online argument of wits with an unarmed person. It's not pretty, especially when they try to claim that every flaw that you point out in their argument is in fact a point in its favor. This is doubly important to remember when the argument is revealed to be about something purely theoretical, with no planned practical application.
Second, if the issue of how many kilojoules of kinetic energy a bullet has ever comes up in a discussion about hit points in D&D, run away. Far away. Save your sanity, because you have unwittingly wandered into an argument with an unarmed person (see point 1 above).
Third, learning to play over-the-shoulder platform games is tricky. Maximo for the PS2 is a fun game, but it's taking some getting used to. Shifting camera angles, for example, take quite a bit of adjustment before they become second nature... and they can still bite you in the ass at the most inopportune times.
Fourth, PS2s rock. I'm glad to have one again. Final Fantasy X and Gran Turismo 3 A-Spec 0wn me.
Finally, fifth, there's nothing like spending a beautiful morning with the one you love, sharing a delicious meal with her, enjoying some nice conversation with her, and then making sweet love to her to remind you how wonderful it is to be alive. God, thanks for Z. I don't know what I would do without her.
