Life is too short to bear grudges.
Life is too short to waste your time carrying around excess emotional baggage, like anger and bitterness, from past wrongs. It's an unnecessary burden, and one that only serves to weight us down and frustrate us, making us angrier and more bitter.
Forgiveness is one of the hardest things to give in the world, because in the end we give of ourselves to forgive, but when we do we drop the weight we've carried with us, and we are free to run towards happiness, unburdened by our negativity.
