(no subject)

Went out this morning with my Best Buy gift card (many uber-thanks to the Casa crew!!!) and picked up a new video card. Nothing fancy - just a Radeon 7500 - but it passes all the tests so far...

Warcraft III? Check.
Unreal Tournament? Check.
UT2003 Demo? Check.

And the final test?

Neverwinter Nights? Well, after tracking down the right driver version (which is not the newest driver), check!!

HUZZAH! I have waited since July to play this game, and now I can!

And as a side note, anyone need a Voodoo 5 5500 AGP? :)

Depends on whether or not you've got an AGP port on your Mobo (which, if you have Dennis's old PC, you should). You want to get together tonight, and maybe find out? :)

So far, it works great! Even better, I had enough money left over to get a copy of Metroid Prime, so it's all good!

I hope you're able to get some use out of the present we left for you, too. :)

After 7pm tonight, I'm off until January 6th. Once you feel comfortable wit yo'game, lemme know if/when you wanna play.

heh, morning mista sef, mes plays that game too...although haven't played NWN for quite some time, but if you let me know when and what needed I wouldn't mind trying a group game of that...(esp if it was some original modules, I prolly need to download some, heard there was a Final Fantasy module...)

        Hey, I'm interested in it. If it was a PCI one, I'd have offered head for it, too. Still, I could use a board that'll handle 3Dfx Glide. What do you want for it? I may be able to offer some hardware, too, or just cash. Oh, and Kat can ship it to me when she ships my SCSI disks, if I do end up grabbin' it from ya.
