So much better today...

nockergeekOh, today is so much better than yesterday. Let me count the ways:
- The weather is awesome. It's in the 60s outside! In December! In Missouri!
- My workload got majorly rebalanced. I have five things on my priority list. Five. And they're the same priority as yesterday!
- Finally broke my writer's block on my character for Garret's game. My last mail to him was just over a page, and it took me 6 weeks to get that much. Last night I got his response story and started my response. After an hour and a half, I already have almost a page and a half, and I'm just getting started!
- Looking forward to looking at Rokugan again this week. Oh, how I want that book. Debbie says it will be in this week... can I resist buying it? Can I? Soemthing tells me Z will find a way to keep me from buying it, not to be mean, but to just keep me from spending cash we don't have. :)
- Looking forward to doing some Christmas shopping. Picking up Z's coat out of layaway this weekend, picking up Maggie's gift - perhaps tonight - and we actually have ideas for Dennis and Dan. Now, if only I can find a gift for Seth...
Yes, today is a good day. And I think my Christmas list is pretty much accounted for. I've trimmed a few items - like the Playstation 2 games. Sure, they'd be nice, but I don't NEED them. We've got the new DVD player (thanks Mom and Dad), and a new coat is on the way (thanks Mom), and a new TV too! (Thanks again, Mom and Dad!) Seth and Kim are getting us DDR (thanks Seth and Kim!). I think that's all the biggies. Oh, and Rokugan. Yes, I still want it, and I will find a way to get it. :)
