Last night, Seth dropped the slightest of slight hints that I might possibly be getting a copy of Rokugan for Christmas. Now, I know it's not from them, since they've really made no secret of what they're getting us, but suddenly I started grilling Seth for details. Basically, I wanted to know whether or not I should buy a copy of the book when it comes out next week, or if I should wait for Christmas. And I kept asking. And asking.
Now, it's no secret that I want a copy of this book badly, but that's no excuse for pestering a friend just in the interest of personal gain just to save myself $30. Z had a good response to the situation - I should just wait 'til after Christmas anyway, when we have more money. So I will wait. It will suck waiting -- I've never been good about not immediately grabbing things that I want -- but I will wait. And if I get it, I get it, and if I don't, I don't, and everyone will be happier for it however it turns out.
So, here's my public apology. Seth, I'm sorry for being a greedy little snot last night. I know, it's probably no big thing, but y'know, I should have been better about it. You've already done more than enough for me these last few months; asking for more is quite selfish of me.
