Long week... and it's only Wednesday

Man, the last couple of days have been crazy. Had a 14-hour day at work on Tuesday, and another 10 hours today (although I did take an almost 2-hour lunch to see my baby!), but hopefully no more of those for a while. It wasn't even one of those productive all-nighters that all l33t hax0rs need to go through on occasion (not that I'm a l33t hax0r) -- instead, it was 14 hours of HTML revisions, mild programming, and deployment/bug checking, which makes for a very long and boring day/night. Productive, but boring. I'd like to get on with more creative projects from time to time, and not just revising the same ones over and over again. Good thing we've got some coming up! Yay!

Determined a few things in the last few days:

• Devil May Cry is a good game. Hard as FUCK, but a good game... until you get to the final boss, and at that point all your hard work gets tossed right out the window. Trust me on this.
  
• Grand Theft Auto 3 is another good one. Tricky... the cops will start beating on you for doing shooting practice in an empty lot... but fun. You can play vigilante or taxi driver too! And beat random passers-by with a baseball bat! All in a living, breathing city, where some people are shitty drivers and get into accidents without your help. I saw a cop hit a streetlight as I was pulling up to the intersection.
  
• We will have a DDR set within a week or so. Just got to wait for the eBay auctions to end... getting $87.78 so far! 4 more days in the auctions, so there's time for even more cash to be rolling in.
  
• Shrek was a good movie. The animation quality was better than Final Fantasy. If they ever do another FF movie, I hope it's a combination of Shrek and FF9's cutscenes. That's about the perfect mix, I think.
  
• Need to get back to my webpage. I've got the look and feel down; just need to do the site itself!
  
• Sleep is good. Get some.
