Right now for Prot it's load up on Def and Stamina. There's a talent that converts part of Stamina to Spellpower which is nice.

I've ditched the spellpower mace (other than if I'm the healer) for a sword. The new 51 talent Hammer that Prot has it high threat low recast so we can just use it over and over to keep up our hate. But...it goes off of weapon damage and spellpower doesn't work on it, so need the high damage weapon over the mace that focused on yellow damage.

Shield pulling is the same, although there's talnets that make it better now. There's also something on the first level of the Ret tree that reduces mana of all instant cast spells. I think that talent is awesome and will be buying it as soon as I level...which will be sometime...still at 70 currently though.

Northrend gear should be able to upgrade you. I've been disapointed that by going through the Nexus dungeon I upgraded 2 of my Kara pieces. (One from a boss drop one from a quest.)

Still no WoW Icon, so you get my only MMO icon.
