On the mend

nockergeekI've got antibiotics now, and I'm starting to feel better. My nose still gets horribly clogged, and I'm still coughing up green blobs of unpleasantness, but I am on the mend. I'm also to use my "rescue" inhaler twice a day to open up my lungs a bit. It's unfortunate that I had to use up two days of paid time off - one for the_z on Friday, and one for me yesterday - because that cuts into vacation time. Sure, I had a five-day weekend, but it doesn't count if you're sick and miserable for most of it.
Still, time spent as a family is good, even if the circumstances are less than ideal. Of all three of us, Andi came out the best overall, since she was getting antibiotics directly from Z when she nursed. A slight sniffle and a minor fever were the height of her symptoms.
