Go, fishie, go

More painting on my Tau army today, mostly focused on my gun drones and Devilfish, along with my first foray into inking. Given the Tau's armor design, I have a feeling that I'm going to get intimately familiar with the process. Fortunately, I like the results, and it's pretty easy to do.

Lookin' good! :D

Inking isn't that hard after you get some practice (and 40k armies tend to teach very well, as you tend to do the same thing over and over,) and it's a very simple way to give models a "pop."

Ink is cool. They're looking good.

I have some Space Marines that I use purple ink on over silver. Gives them a metalic purple look. There's probably a better way to do it, but I haven't taken then time to figure it out yet.

That sounds about right, doing a purple ink glaze over a metallic paint.

It looks pretty good from a distance on the smaller models. The larger models (like my Dreadnoughts) tend to show brushstrokes a bit more.
