Week one
So, my week off of work ends tomorrow, and Monday, it's back to the grind.
Andromeda's doing quite well. Her jaundice is gone, she's putting weight back on, and she's on a regular feeding schedule.
the_z is doing decently well, too, although she's just barely on the ragged edge of sleep depravation. Thanks to a 2-3 hour feeding schedule, it's nigh impossible for her to get several hours of straight sleep, and since we're not doing the formula thing, she has to do the feeding. (Yes, we have a pump, but she's not quite pumpable yet.) In a couple of weeks, though, we should be able to switch duties, assuming that Z can wake me up.
The other challenge has been getting Ein acclimated to the baby. He's not aggressive... but he is excited, anxious, and very curious. Slowly, though, we're getting him used to her by letting him smell some of her things, and having them in the room together (with her safely in her basinet/playpen). He's spending his nights with Z's mom, but he gets some time over here on a regular basis, with a little more exposure each time.
Today almost feels like a normal weekend otherwise. Getting caught back up on Rogue Galaxy, and once that's done, I can focus on Shadow Hearts: Covenant, which has been sitting unfinished in my game rack for months. Of course, the new .hack/G.U. game comes out in 2 weeks, and that will probably eat what little spare time I have.
Oh, and my Tau are finally primed. I'm just rounding out my color selection, and I should be ready to paint. This whole time, I thought I was going to go with a Sa'cea color scheme (blue-gray armor, black clothing, orange markings), but based on what colors I had that were still good, I think I'm going to go with a forest variation of Kel'shan (olive green armor, grey or brown clothing, yellow markings). I never thought I'd go green, but after looking at it in the Army Painter on Dawn of War, I think it'll work, and I can use similar colors on my Kroot.

Also, I'm poking away at assembling my Eldar army. So much work.
