Staying home today; it's fucking horrid outside. At 7 AM or so, there were at least 3 accidents reported on the news that were 3 miles or less from our house, one of which involved a fatality (although it was later revealed that it was due to the poor bastard not wearing a seatbelt). Called into work, and was basically told that if I don't have to be in the office, stay home. Sounds like solid advice to me, since its' a skating rink outside.

Two fatalities, actually. One up on 291 killed a 16 year old.

Yeah, that's the one really close to us he mentioned. Kid just got thrown from the SUV because they weren't wearing a seatbelt.
