So I have started a quest to upgrade all of our A/V cables from RCA/Composite to S-Video. Component video would be nice, but as we have 3 possible devices (a DVD player, a PS2, and a Gamecube), only 2 component inputs on the TV, and no luck in finding a component video switcher, S-Video seems to be the best compromise. It doesn't hurt that S-Video cables cost around half the price of component cables. Looks like we're looking at between $75-$100 to replace everything with decent-quality S-Video cables, including new adapters for the two game systems.

This also brings up an interesting idea - we now have room for a fourth device on our switcher. I wonder what to put there eventually...

Target had some last month, I'm pretty sure they still do. It's over in the electronics section, about 4 aslies towards the back of the store.

I am afraid, yet strangely intrigued.

Not that we have anything for the DC.
