nockergeekMy body has not approved of my diet over the last week or so. The irony of this is that it's been a relatively healthy diet. Lots of lettuce (gee, I wonder why), and a decent amount of fiber. I won't go into details, but you can probably guess where this is all going... or at least, where it went. :/
The end result? Intestinal distress. Nothing serious, but enough to wake me up at 4 in the morning and keep me up 'til 5 or so. Called in sick, and I ended up sleeping on the couch until around 11:30. My gut's a bit tender right now, but otherwise fine. My appendix seems happy after doign some stomach palpatations, though (yay, hypochondria and paranoia), so I don't think I have anything to worry about. Like all things, this too shall pass.
