On DDR MAX 2, I can finally do Tsuguru on Standard difficulty (6 feet). Out of three straight tries this morning, I managed to pass it each time. Probably only a C-level performance (I was on workout mode, so I'm not sure on actual scores), but I no lower than a half-bar the entire time, and got over a 70-combo at one point.

Step by step, I will improve. Now if only I could get the rest of my body to move with my feet. I'm so painfully white...

I still play on Beginner. ._.

I'm getting better, though! I got a AA on something (I forget what, offhand). Might be the fact that my sister bought a RedOctane pad, though. So much better than the flat knockoffs.

Hey, everyone has to start somewhere. I started on Beginner level myself when I first DDR'd several years ago.

And yes, the RedOctane pads kick major ass. Only a metal pad would be better, but the RedOctane Ignition gives the best bang for the buck.
