I have a new cellphone. We dropped our old T-Mobile account and went with Virgin Mobile, since we were using a whole 30 minutes of the 1600 minutes we were given each month. Just made sense to move to a prepaid service, rather than a contracted monthly service. We'll probably be able to spend $50 every 90 days, rather than $50 every month, and I get a better phone out of the deal. It's a camera phone, no less. There's only one downside - uploading a photo to the Virgin Mobile website costs the same as sending a photo message - $0.25 per photo. Unfortunately, the Virgin version of the phone we have (there's also a Verizon version by the same manufacturer) doesn't support using a USB data cable to transfer images off of the phone. Looks like we'll still be looking at getting a new digital camera...
...after we get the new TV, of course. We're starting that fund back up (after having to tap into it a bit for Christmas and such), but we've still got the contributions from friends (thanks so much, you know who you are!), so we're back on track with that.

camera and tv
yeah, when I was in best buy today I did stop and look at their TVs...a new tv might be nice here as well...but I really don't watch it much, so there really doesn't seem to be the need...spend more time on the computer...heh
