My headphones are about dead, I think. They've picked up a nasty, nasty buzz in the left speaker, and the earloops (as these are wrap-around headphones) are starting to come loose. Time to get a new pair this weekend, I gather. I wonder if my co-worker Ben (the local audiophile) has a spare pair I can borrow until then.

Still riding my post-depression high. Even the general gloominess of the weather doesn't have me down. Unfortunately, it's also making work seem tedious and un-fun, so my brain is refusing to concentrate on it. I'm sure I can wrangle my brain into playing along, though. Ah, the joys of being bipolar. I couldn't sleep until 1:30 PM last night, just because I was busy watching the rest of Firefly and working on Warlord decks.

By the way, the management at Fox is a bunch of bastards for cancelling Firefly. Such a good, good show.

Yes it was. but at least they're making a Firefly movie.

Not nearly enough time in a movie to cover all the unanswered questions and character development that the show deserves. :P

True, but it is something. and on a really longshot chance, maybe the movie will do well enough for another network to say, "Hey, we should make a TV series out of that movie." At least that's one of the hopes Joss voiced on the DVD extras.
