It's weird. No one here at the office today knows that it's my birthday. Kind of a lonely feeling... but then the rest of you more than make up for it, so it's all good.

And apparently, my boss was unaware that the raise he'd given me wasn't enough to cover the hit from the insurance increase (by about, oh, $100 per paycheck) to get me back to pre-raise takehome pay. So there might end up being light at the end of the tunnel. He's also reimbursing me for the medical tests I had in May which should have been covered but weren't due to an accounting mix-up.

And really, people have been doing their damnedest to make sure I'm going to have a good birthday. I would be doing them a disservice if I didn't do my best to oblige them.

Thank you! *^_^* And I do plan on getting out to St. Louis sometime soon. Just depends on what the money situation ends up looking like, so perhaps we can have a mini-meet out there.
