nockergeek: (frustrated)
Trying to get my domain's DNS settings changed so I can move it from my old host to my new host is proving difficult. I'd updated my email address on my general hosting account settings last night, to match the one I'm using at the new host, and then I updated my domain's name servers to be pointing at the new host's servers... and I was told it was "updating." Then, a couple of hours later, the status changed to "domain registration error," and the old host's interface won't let me check the settings, let alone update them, until the "error" is resolved. What's the error? Apparently, they couldn't update the email address on my domain registration automatically, and are doing so manually... or they will, when they get around to it.

Grr. Arr. Oh well, I guess I get the service I was paying for on this old free host.
