Okay, here's the issue. [livejournal.com profile] tesstrosa wants to sell her adult artwork online, such as erotic prints, hentai commissions, and her collected CD works. Problem is, we can't use PayPal, because PayPal stopped allowing the use of their service for adult products back in 2003. (That doesn't stop people from using it, but they do so at their own risk.)

It's not just PayPal, either. StormPay, CCNow, iBill - none of them allow payments for adult/pornographic materials. We could use a normal credit card processing service, but those are expensive, and we don't expect the volume of business to make it cost effective -- and even some of them will cancel your account if you're selling "high-risk" items, like erotic material. The only thing we can think of is the Amazon Honor Payment system, which isn't great, but they don't have any restrictions on how it can be used.

What that leaves us with is checks and money orders. She's not keen on checks - she saw too many habitual check-bouncers when she was growing up - but I talked her into accepting them last night. Money orders, she's more comfortable with, but I know not everyone can do those.

So... we're trying to test the environment. How would you pay, if you were paying?
