Aug. 22nd, 2005 10:35 amOne downside about being technical director - clients get to come into your office and talk to you one-on-one and tell you exactly what's wrong with what you've been working on. At this point, it's all piddly detail shit that doesn't get told to me until after the fact -- "we were testing, and this didn't work the way we think it should" -- but then I'm told that everything has to work perfectly for the testing next week. The fact that the definition of "work perfectly" seems to be a moving target apparently bothers no one but myself.
