(no subject)

Well, right now, Z is sitting at her gate, having passed through security (they even searched her shoes), and is waiting for her flight to start boarding, if it hasn't already. In about 27 minutes, she'll be airborne. She'll call me when she gets to Providence, and from there she'll be in the hands of greenwings and ceruleanskies. I think she'll be okay.

And as for me? I finish up the workday, then go home and deal with a corgi who'll be neurotic from his lack of Mommy, and figure out how to finish the night. Got two or three more trades to pack up for mailing tomorrow, and maybe I can build a couple of new Warlord decks (after the pup's to bed and I can spread things out on the table and floor). Might also work on redressing the cables in Master Loo to improve his airflow; want to see if I can get the CPU down below 43 degrees Centigrade.

Update on Z's Trip

Just got a call from Z. She's at O'Hare Airport in Chicago, because her plane is changing gates at the moment. The second leg of her flight - from Chicago, IL, to Providence, RI -- starts at 1:29 PM. Sounds like she's doing just fine, even if I accidentally walked off with her flight itinerary/ticket receipt. That's okay, though - it's one of the reasons I made 4 copies for her, so she'd have little chance of losing it.

Z called a few minutes ago. She made it to Providence, and is waiting for people to pick her up. So she's there in one piece. All good. ^_^
