This is one of the most disturbing things I've ever read:

"Now we have both gold- and silver-tone collars for your goats. These are the finest show collars available. The elegant gold- and silver-tone hex collars accentuate your goat's long, feminine neck."

I don't want to think about the kind of person who wants to accentuate the femininity of his goat's neck... *shudder*

Well, it's official -- our developer who was interviewing for a job got the position, and he'll be putting in his 2 weeks on Friday. That leaves 2 developers, which swamps us right now, but isn't so bad during the slow season.

So, I am left with two options:

1) Pursue another job. I've got a number I could call right now and probably get a job with one of our clients. I may call that number today. However, this would almost undoubtedly lead to the death of the company. One developer left would be unable to handle much of the workload. We haven't had one developer since right before I started.

2) Stay here. There's a chance that the money spent on this developer could get redistributed to the other employees. I wouldn't hold my breath on that, though. If we lost enough work through a lack of developer manpower, we could still die, and I'd have no backup plan.

So it's down to this: risk killing the company quickly by jumping ship myself, or risk the slow death of the company by staying.

Decisions, decisions...
