So tired... I think I need to take a nap when I get home, so I can be rested tonight for... grocery shopping.
Big thanks to Ben for nearly tripling my Warlord collection last night; now I can actually build a handful of decent decks and teach my friends how to play. It'll be a good casual "beat on the other guy" game.
Arms are still a bit sore from shooting hoops on Sunday at the new church in Odessa, built on land that my grandfather donated when he died. Haven't done any basketball-ish activities since my freshman year in high school, and I sucked then. I'm only marginally better now, thanks to having grown since then. Still, it was fun shooting baskets and talking trash with Z in the church gymnasium.
Still working on the job search. Goal is to have my resume revised by tomorrow night and out to my various leads. I've apparently got another lead, although it would require working for one of the clients I deal with often. It'd really depend on what they offered me, since I've ranted at length about the things I've had to deal with from them. A small part of me wants to remain loyal to my current company, but the rest of me then reminds myself of the extremely shaky future of the company, and the fact that no one's gotten raises in two years, and the past promises broken and poor decisions made, and that loyalty fades really quickly. I have a wife and corgi to support, and would like to get out of debt and into a house (and more debt!) eventually, and that's just not going to happen here.
But first, I must nap when I get home.
