Our office didn't pay the ISDN bill this month. We were $80 short, apparently.

That ISDN is the lifeline of our office, because it's where all our static IPs reside, so all our servers are hosted on that line -- which is fine bandwidth-wise, because they're just for testing purposes or internal use in most cases. For external access, we've got the DSL.

So anyway, the phone company took our ISDN away yesterday for non-payment. They offered to turn it back on if we signed a 2-year contract. My boss refused. Intuition tells me that more factors than that are involved, such as them demanding an upfront payment or somesuch.

So anyway, we've got no testing servers available, we're using some odd DNS sever that doesn't allow me to access a couple of outside testing servers, we've got no email, and work's basically come to a total stop. Kinda hard to work if I can't access anything. If this keeps up, I may take off early and work from home, because I've got just as much access from there as I do here at this point.

Y'know, you may call me a rat, but I think it's just about time I find my way off of this sinking ship. This is just not boding well for us, and I can't risk a work stoppage; our finances won't take it. So, time to find some other options. Time to polish off my resume and try again.
