Ever have a premonition of doom when reading the news?

This is not a good idea.

It's going to severely piss off all the Arab countries we've recently been trying to woo. It's going to destablize the region before it has any positive results (the "burn this village to save it" effect). And why in the hell are we announcing this a year ahead of time?

"Yessir, we're going in there to take him and his entire regime out! You hear that? We're coming after you!! Just give us a year or so to get ready, though. But don't thing we don't mean this!"

This is the height of both hubris and stupidity.
