Feeling better...

Just had to take this over again...
I AM 60% GEEK.

Nerd, Freak, Geek, Dweeb. Sound familiar? That's okay, cause I will be the richest person at my 15th year high-school reunion. If a "con" isn't happening that weekend.

Take the GEEK Test at Fuali.com!

...

Okay, with that out of the way... I'm feeling better. Z knew exactly what to do to cheer me back up. As she said afterwards, snatch always cheers me up!

The MOVIE, you perverts! The MOVIE. Snatch always perks me right up. I can't wait to see Guy Ritchie's next British underworld crime black comedy... there has to be a third! Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Barrels and Snatch are just not enough! I WANT MORE!!

Anyway, yeah, we're tight on cash. That hasn't changed. But y'know, it's okay. So we give up some luxuries. We'll still eat. We'll have gas money. We'll make our bills. We'll survive, and we'll be happy together. Besides, we've got a lot of luxuries already. We've got a PS2 -- we can't be that poorly off, right? And we've got plenty of games to play, and movies to watch, and books to read. And we've got a couch where we can snuggle and make out. Y'know, I should find a movie we both like, have Dan hook us up with a free rental, get some popcorn, turn down the lights, and have an at-home movie date. ^_^

So we'll do more than just survive. We'll survive with style!

Stuff and things, things and stuff...

Saw Harry Potter this morning with Z. I was so happy to see that she enjoyed it despite her earlier protests otherwise. Of course, anyone with an imagination like her's can't help but like the movie. Now, if I can just get her reading the books...

Found out next month's phone bill is going to be half of what it is normally... apparently, they overcharged us by about $25 last month. Also, now that we only have one phone line (unlike the 2 lines we had at the old apartment), the phone bill is about $12 less per month. It's great news, and couldn't have come at a better time. *gives a thumbs up to the Big Man*

Reading the third Harry Potter book - thanks to Kim for lending it to me! Already 44 pages in after maybe 20 minutes total of reading time, and loving every page!

Oh, and finally... something that I haven't done in a long time: a Christmas wish list! And one that's mostly entertainment items, but some practicalities all the same.
  • A new coat; my old suede one's falling apart, and so is my black microfiber trench coat
  • A new DVD player. Our old one went kaput in March, and while the PS2 can play movies, I'd like to keep the wear and tear on it down. Also, it's really iffy on what it will and won't play, so something that's dedicated would be preferable
  • Some good miniature painting supplies. Oh, a good set of hobby knives, a pin drill, some Citadel matte sealer, perhaps a new set of brushes.
  • A new Final Fantasy Tactics strategy guide, to replace my old missing one
  • Dance Dance Revolution for the Playstation, and at least 1 dance pad (and possibly a office static pad with teeth that we can tape it to to keep it from shifting)
  • Metal Gear Solid 2 for PS2. THE game of the year.
  • Capcom vs. SNK 2 for PS2. Kickass fighting games!
  • Guilty Gear X for PS2. MORE kickass fighting games!
  • Half-Life for PS2. Yes, I've beaten the original, but I want to see the new version!
  • A signed copy of Rokugan.
  • A stocking full of oranges, apples, and peanuts.
  • A few packs of An Oni's Fury, and maybe some of Gold Edition.
  • Loving family and good friends.
Well, that's pretty much my list right there! I don't expect to get much on it, but it's a wish list, so I just have to keep on wishing! :)
