For those of you in the KC area, who would be interested in joining me for some Mutants and Masterminds fun? It's a superhero RPG, based on the d20 system but with significant changes/improvements (point-based character creation, no hit points, etc.). It'll be somewhere between four-color 60s-style wackiness and grim-n-gritty. Some combat, some comedy, some deeper RP.

Looking for about 4 to 6 players. If you're interested, either email me or just leave me a comment here... and if you have a character concept already, let me know that too. Really trying to gauge interest at the moment.

Remember the sort of random luck that clings to me, though. I have rolled natural 20s by bashing the table and making the dice jump, then crit-failed the next roll. TTing with me would be... interesting, I believe the term is.

I only seem to roll natural 20's when it isn't particularly important. Then I real critical failures at the worst possible times ^^;

I'm so in! We had a M&M online game that never got started but gave me a serious case of the blueballs for the system. Kim may also be interested - she seemed to like it a bunch.

Awesome! 3-4 players so far... might go for 1 or 2 more, but if I don't get it, I think we've still got a good, solid group.

I'm thinking something every other week, some time on the weekends (maybe Friday or Saturday evenings, maybe Sundays). More details to come as I piece things together.

For what its worth, I have been talking to Jed about running some sort of game (perhaps L5R) with anyone and everyone interested (especially the peeps at "the house") on a every-other-Sunday kinda basis... Maybe we could play your game first than alternate to something else every so often. As far as character, while I dont have the game book I once was an avid superhero gamer (Jay and a bunch of us from the Burg used to play all of the time a few years ago) and would love to try out a new system!
