They don't have our lease on record -- it's at the corporate office in Kansas. The manager's going to get a copy of both our leases (2001-2002 and 2002-2003) and look them over. They suspect that our first lease was a 13-month lease (and I honestly don't remember if it was), in which case we did technically break our lease. We may yet be able to work something out, though.

And if not, they will take payment in installments, so we're not totally destitute. We'll be okay.

Hey, yo, 'bout the apartment situation. Hadn't had a chance to ask what the latest was on that--so contact me at work tomorrow (e-mail or whatever) and let me know. As for the new movie out today. The old lady and I saw it this evening. Got to say it was a big let-down. There were some moments where it almost seemed to be delivering the beginnings of some passion, but then the movie would get all wordy, and that moment would disappear. So, word to the wise, don't waste money on this turkey. Save that for Thanksgiving.
