Sep. 10th, 2003 04:22 pmSinuses seem to be behaving today - possibly because the allergen count is dropping, and possibly because I've been doping myself up with sinus medicine before I sleep so my body isn't so taxed during the night. Being able to breathe through my nose is nice.
Actually getting some programming done when I'm not putting in my time or putting out fires. Of course, during that programming, I'll spend 45 minutes trying to track down a bug, only to find it's a single-character typo. Those things are the bane of the programmer's existence, I swear. All it takes is one missing "$", or a flipped "<" or ">", and everything goes straight to hell. This happens more often than I might like to admit, and is the sure cause of the gray hairs Z found in my beard.
Well, either that, or the corgi. He might cause some gray hairs too.
And when I get home, more programming, because I'm working on Z's new website. That programming, though, I like a lot more, because it's truly mine. I'm doing it on my own dime, on my own time, for my own reasons, to my own specs. Good for keeping my skills sharp, and occasionally making them sharper. I always learn better through application than just reading, but having some good guides helps a lot.
