nockergeek: (thinking)

Did my first real bit of personal car maintenance today - changed a dead break light this morning. Doesn't sound like much, I know, but it's a first step. I want to do an oil change next, I think. ^_^

Thinking of a new name for SiteMonkey (yes, still haven't found one.) I'm thinking about "Gibbon". There's one other software project out there named Gibbon, but it hasn't been updated in 2 years and besides, it's an e-commerce plugin. I don't think there'll be much confusion. The reason I need a new name for it is that my boss approved me to update it and use it in one of our projects! Not only do I get to work on it while at the office (where all my brand-new PHP reference materials are), but I get paid for it, too! Double bonus! Once the upgrades are done (and the GPL license applied so that I can keep the changes for future use), I can use them to update Ninja-monkey.com, Lakelandcommunitychurch.org, and Thelionclan.com. Should be fun!

Oil changes are fun. Messy, and a disproportionate amount of work, but fun.

The biggest bitch, for me, is spending the twenty minutes or so working on the hydraulic jack to get the car up high enough to put on the stands. But then, my roommate's jack is ancient, so that's probably why it takes so damned long.

I really should get back into L5R. There's just nobody to play with around here. Don't even know if I have any decks put together, at the moment. Just loose cards... c.c

heh, L5R was fun...I've still got decks made from when I first got into the game...yeah, that's right 30/30 decks...still have about 20-30 together, so if anyone wanted to do an old-school L5R night, I've got enough decks for ppl to play, (even the corupt phoenix and 12 Black Scrolls that Rob likes so well...heh)

Extra points if you can make GIBBON an acronym. Like... GPL Internet Builder of Big Online Networks or something.
