I'm dropping off the diet. Why? Because I refuse to give up carbs for the rest of my life. This isn't just a "well, you lose the weight, and then you can go back to carbs" kind of diet. Once you start taking in carbs, your body immediately burns those first, isntead of the fat. That's why you're limited to 20g of carbs. 20 grams. That's not a food measurement! They measure medicine in grams, not food. Z tells me that's one hamburger bun a day - fuck that noise! I miss potatoes and pasta and rice and ramen and bagels and pancakes and cereal! I won't give those up just to try to burn off weight quickly. I'd rather just moderate my portions all around and get exercising again.

(Which also annoys me - was going to DDR this morning, but my left instep and toes are hurting every time I put pressure on them. There goes that idea.)

You should take a look at the "Atkinson" diet... It's centered around carbs. I think it may be linked to the diet of ancient Hawaiians. There's a book out about it... probably can find stuff online as well. We have a restaurant here that offers dishes based off the diet. =)

Nope. No more diets. No more cutting out this, that, or the other thing. I'm through with them.

Good for you... cutting out stuff altogether never works. It's all about portions... y'know, doubling up on veggies & stuff. =9 At least that's what I'm trying to do.
