Discouraged...
Feb. 7th, 2002 07:13 amI'm getting frustrated with myself over my website. It's not that it's a bad design; it's that I can't seem to come up with content to fill it, and it's aggravating me to no end. I keep bouncing back and forth, especially on the RPG pages... at first, I thought about putting up NPCs at various levels in their careers. I got about halfway through the first one (which has taken much longer than it should), and decided to scrap that idea. Then I decided to just do a different NPC each week... and I'm not happy with that. Then I thought of something that would be great - doing adventure hooks every week, something that people could actually use. That lasted a whole two hours before I realized that I'm a horrible writer who has a lot of trouble coming up with plot ideas.
ARGH.
I can't seem to do anything right for this page outside of the design. Part of me wants to scrap the whole thing and do a new page just for myself. Another part of me wants to keep going. A third part wants to try to do both - make a new page, and incorporate what I've got into that new vanity page.
Not that it matters, of course. No one ever visits my page as it is (probably because it lacks content. :)
What's a frustrated webmaster to do?
