About ready to have a nervous breakdown...
They're doing it again.
The client I do work for has given me a 12-point priority list... which is actually longer than 12 items, because nothing from yesterday's list is on it. Yesterday's "top priority" quickly got pushed down to the bottom, and isn't even on the list today, but it's already a day late from these delays. That doesn't even count the handful of items that weren't on either list but are in the pipeline and need to get done.
So fuck them. I'm doing things at my own rate. I refuse to be bullied by an inconsiderate customer. I wouldn't be bullied when I made minimum wage at Fazoli's, so I sure as FUCK won't be bullied when I'm a web developer who makes less than the median for my profession. Frankly, they don't pay our company - and through them, me - enough to put up with that shit.
