Computer issue resolved

A new computer has been ordered. I'm replacing my desktop system with a Dell M1730 XPS laptop. 2.5 GHz Core 2 Duo, 4 GB of memory, GeForce 8700M video, 200 GB 7200 RPM hard drive, 8x DVD burner, AEGIA PhysX accelerator, and so on. Much more power in a much smaller package. I'll be able to retire my mid-tower system and conserve space in the office.

Z and I will also both be able to be computing together in the living room. The freedom of having two laptops will really be nice. I'll also be able to take my laptop over to Dan and Richard's on Monday nights. It's a win-win situation.

How much did you pay for the physics chip because nVidia are adding the technology via a driver update to 8x cards, since nVidia bought out AEGIA. :X

But yeah, noice.

Actually, the physics accelerator is stock on the M1730s; it's built into the base cost of the system.

ah, that's OK then, they probably get the for pennies now anyway that nVidia own them.
