Well, I did it. I'm totally out of L5R (well, the card game, anyway).
Went to A2Z last night, hung out with Ben for a while, and he was talking about missing L5R, and being tired of Warlord. I half-jokingly suggested we could swap my L5R for his Warlord cards.
He thought about it for a few moments, and agreed. A couple of short drives later, we had exchanged our entire collections. He ended up getting about twice the cards that I did, but what I got from him had a much higher percentage of rares and promos. I told him exactly what I had sold off, so he knew what holes existed in my collection, so I consider it a fair trade all around. I also now have enough promos and demo decks that I could run a demo or two without card support from AEG.
And life... is good.
