Every now and again, I hop online and look into those hobbies and games that I've given up, just to see what's going on. Apparently, the latest edition of Legend of the Five Rings is out now, and after looking at all the rules changes, I don't know if I even recognize the game anymore. I mean, even some of the basics have changed. Of course, I haven't played since Gold Edition, so I imagine I'd have to learn entirely from scratch. The old Shadowlands faction is a Great Clan now? Ignoring honor requirements for in-clan personalities? New rings? It's a good thing I never plan to go back, because I think I'd be utterly lost.
