Another dream this morning. I don't usually remember my dreams, so when I do it two nights in a row, I take notice. This one started out pretty much like the Breakfast Club, with a bunch of kids sitting in detention in a library. There were no amusing hijinks, but at the end of that portion of the dream, there was a scene where everyone made deep, thoughful speeches about things like what responsibility meant to them, or somesuch. Afterwards, everyone left, and
tesstrosa and I went to another library to look at books. I ended up checking out a book on Warcraft, and one other (I want to say it was something by Shakespeare, but I'm not sure).
We then walked home, which turned out to be the house next to my old house in Harrisonville (which, unfortunately, was still repainted from its original brick red color). I then went into the garage to work on something, and I had a plastic container of blue iron dust (don't ask; I don't even know) open on the workbench. Somehow, some of it got onto my hand, and I rubbed my lips... then I had a sudden wariness, so I checked the instructions on the container. "Do not ingest blue iron. Do not get it on your tongue." So, I run to the bathroom, look in the mirror, and sure enough, I have blue spots all over my tongue. I'm frantically washing my tongue, trying to get the spots off, and
tesstrosa knocks on the door. "Is everything okay?" she asks. "Yeah, just fine, just washing something off," I tell her, not wanting to alarm her. Mind you, I don't know what blue iron does. I don't know how it poisons you, although I seem to remember thinking that it made you more susceptible to disease.
And then I woke up.
So yes, I've been having another stress dream, and a health-related one at that. I will get over this eventually, I swear.
