nockergeek: (busy)
I have one week to finish painting twelve Tau Fire Warriors. So far, I have the cloth underarmor painted on 9 of them, and the base colors on the armor done for 2 of those. My schedule for the next week?

Last Night: Painting.
Tonight: Painting.
Wednesday Night: Painting.
Thursday Night: Painting.
Friday Night: Shadowrun (some things still maintain priority over minis).
Saturday Morning: Possibly work (I blame clients with squirrelly schedules).
Saturday Afternoon/Evening: Painting.
Sunday Morning: Church.
Sunday Afternoon/Evening: Painting.
Monday Night: Painting.
Tuesday Night: Painting.

Figuring in 2-3 hours a night on the weekdays, and 4-5 hours on the weekends... that's 4 hours down, with roughly 18 hours to go. I think I can make it in time, but it'll be close; I imagine that I'll be doing detail work right up to the wire. Also, I need to fit photography in there somewhere (although that'll probably be rolled up in a painting block.) Also, I need to squeeze in time for Tales of Vesperia (playing is my reward for getting painting done). And then, I can take a week off of painting - and then start in all over again on a unit of Pathfinders and a Devilfish. What can I say? I'm an addict. :P

EDIT: Underarmor completed on all 12, and the one helmet-less Tau has his head/face completely painted. However, after comparing this unit with the previous unit of Fire Warriors I have, I may need to darken the cloth slightly. A thin, slightly darker gray wash should do the trick.
