It's cool being a dad.

I don't often talk about our daughter, so this may seem a bit out-of-place for me. I tend to keep family business pretty private.

However, I just want to say that our little girl is awesome, and I love her more than I can adequately describe. It's been amazing watching her learn and grow over the past 17 months. The little pink thing we brought home from the hospital has grown into a smart, sweet, funny, inquisitive little girl. Every day is a little surprise (and I only get to see her a few hours a day; imagine what the_z gets to experience), and every day she's discovered or learned something new. I never knew what to expect when she was first born, and I'm still learning and making things up as I go along, but to get to see her become her own person is one of the greatest things in my world.

Anyway, just wanted to share that. And now, back to the normal geekery...
