Struck down in my prime

the_z low for a few days (and which she's still recovering from, with the help of antibiotics) has hit me, and it's made life more or less miserable. Fortunately, it's a long holiday weekend, which means I can rest on Monday. Unfortunately, it's a long holiday weekend - which means I won't be able to see the doctor and get my own antibiotics until Tuesday. In the interim, DayQuil (or its generic equivalent) has become my friend - and other than it knocking me out cold on Friday, it's been relatively non-drowsy. I've also been downing throat lozenges like they're going out of style (although still within the recommended use guidelines).
The irony of all of this is that we picked up Wii Fit yesterday, which is really good, but is not going to see much active use until the household collectively gets over the plague.
